My Style My style is candid, photojournalistic, and easy-going. This approach allows your child to be themselves, allowing their true personalities and charisma to come through. I work only on-location using natural light (and the beautiful shadows that come with it). Sessions can last anywhere from 1-2 hours. I will take the time needed to make your child as comfortable as possible (including breaks for snacks, clothing changes, etc.) I prefer to interact with my subjects and capture whatever moods and expressions that come out during that time rather than direct and pose them. What to Wear Casual is best. I want to photograph your kids being themselves so please dress them accordingly. Your kids should be dressed in clothes that make them happy and comfortable. Jeans are great and photograph beautifully. Bare feet are wonderful too. Generally, cartoon characters and large logos don’t photograph well but beyond that, anything goes. I’ve even had kids wear their favorite costume for a session! If you have any questions about clothing for the session, please don’t hesitate to ask me. Your Images Your proofs will be presented to you in a private, online gallery approximately one week after your session. You are very welcome to share this gallery with your friends and family. You will be given a minimum of 10-15 pictures to choose from. Print orders must be placed within 10 days of receiving your gallery. After the 10 days, there will be a $50 fee to republish the gallery to the website. Unused print credits for both packages expire 3 months after your session. Payment Payment is due in full at the time of your session. I accept cash, check and major credit cards(visa, mastercard, discover and american express). After viewing your proofs online, you can place your order over the phone or by email. Additional print orders are not placed until payment has been received. Please allow 2-3 weeks for final portrait delivery. Fine art canvases take up to 4-6 weeks. Cancellations In case of illness or other unforeseen circumstance, please contact me at least 24 hours prior to your session so we can reschedule. |
